Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox are her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Her budget was supplemented with a student stipend as well as part-time employment. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path after she became dissatisfied by her lack of skill in the same way as others Royal Academy students. Lennox started her professional career in 1976 in a band called Dragons Playground. The group did not get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. From 1977 to 1980 she served as the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop group. It was here that she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began working on her first solo album Diva and it was released in 1992. The album was a massive achievement as well as selling and critically acclaimed. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favourite blues, jazz and soul songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. Her first solo album in conjunction with her artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled "Now I'm letting You Go." Annie Lennox (born December 25 in 1954) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists gained some minor recognition for her and Dave Stewart's work throughout the 1970s. They went on, during the 80s, to form the popular duo Eurythmics. The album that Lennox released in 1992 Diva produced many successful songs, including Why the World is Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. The album features covers of songs like No MoreI Love Yous and The Whiter Shade of Pale. Her solo albums include six album compilations and studio albums.
